HALLOWEEN! :D

1.) Why is Halloween celebrated and how did it originate?

Evolving from the ancient Celtic holiday of Samhain, modern Halloween has become less about literal ghosts and ghouls and more about costumes and candy. The Celts used the day to mark the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter, and also believed that this transition between the seasons was a bridge to the world of the dead.  Over the millennia the holiday transitioned from a somber pagan ritual to a day of merriment, costumes, parades and sweet treats for children and adults.

2.) Finish the following scenario:

I can’t believe that I forgot my math textbook at school when I have a test on Monday. My driver had to drop me off to get it. As I walked up the front steps of SIS, I realized that all of the lights were off, and I couldn't see anyone around. The front door creaked open, and small bugs were running around the floor. Something felt strange. I finally reached the front desk and blood started pouring out the walls. I started running.
