I can’t believe that I forgot my math textbook at school when I have a test on Monday. My driver had to drop me off to get it. As I walked up the front steps of SIS, I realized that all of the lights were off, and I couldn't see anyone around. The front door creaked open, and small bugs were running around the floor. Something felt strange. I finally reached the front desk and I saw no one at the front desk.
I just decided to walk to my class room. When I walked pass the staircase, the first floor was completely pitched black. This was just starting to creep me out. It is just 5.30 pm and the place was pitched black. I didn't want to stay too long so I started running towards my class to get my textbook. When I opened the door, I saw a girl I didn't know sitting on one of my friend's seat. I was super scared.
"Umm, don't mind me, I will just be taking my math textbook," I said worriedly. She didn't move. She had long hair and white skin, she was wearing a white dress. Her head was looking at the ground. I quickly ran to my seat to get my book. Suddenly, she stood up from her seat and walked towards the door. I had a thought to follow her or not.
Should I? It is very scary but I was really curious. I had no idea but the last thing I remember is just following her. She walked up the gloomy stairs. I followed. When I reached the first floor, I saw nothing. Then, suddenly, she stopped walking. She turned around and I could see her terrifying face. Her face was so scary I can't even explain it. It looked as if she fell from a hundred floors with her face mashed up. "Why are you following me?!" She screamed so loud the glass of the classrooms shattered into pieces.
I couldn't think, I had to run for my life as she was chasing me. I ran out the door and the front gate was closing. I thought I couldn't make it. I didn't. My back was pushing towards the door as the girl in white was getting closer. I didn't know what to do. I couldn't run and no one was in school. I thought my life was over.
I closed my eyes to wish all of this would go away. Suddenly, I heard a female voice say:"You dropped this," I opened my eyes and saw the girl holding my cellphone. "I thought you were gonna kill me," I was so tired and surprised. "No, you dropped your....thing..." She said like she had no soul.
"It's called a cell phone....thanks....."
"You are welcome" She then waved her hand and the door flew open. I was free. I walked slowly outside and when I turn back towards the door, the girl was gone. Till this day I can't forget what I experienced. I didn't understand her kindness and her being in the school. What I know is that I never saw her again....but when I wrote a letter to her and left it in the school......she always replied 'It's lonely', and never said why....
