Ingredients:
1 vanilla bean,split lengthwise
1 whole cup milk
3/4 cup sugar
2 cups heavy cream
5 large egg yolks
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
Step 1: In a medium saucepan, heat up the milk, sugar and salt
Step 2: Chill the ice cream
Step 3: Make the custard
Step 4: Combine the custard with heavy cream
Step 5: Remove the ice cream custard from the refridgerator
Step 6: Serve your ice cream to your friends and family
